**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)** Join our Global Supply Chain Management team as a Commodity Manager, specializing in the strategic procurement of gas turbine blades and vanes airfoil components. This critical role will shape the supply strategy for Siemens Energy’s turbine blades and vanes—key components in the turbine section of gas turbines. The supply chain includes three primary manufacturing stages: SX/DS/CC investment casting, advanced precision machining, and thermal barrier coating application. We seek a highly skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies and manage the supply chain for airfoil blade and vane components. As an individual contributor, you will leverage strong analytical capabilities, a passion for supply chain management, and expert negotiation skills to drive success. This on-site position is based in Siemens Energy’s Orlando, FL office. If you're ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic global environment, we’d love to hear from you! **How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + StrategicDevelopment & Communication: Skilled in developing and presenting commoditystrategies and driving critical initiatives optimally. + SupplierRelationship & Risk Management: Experienced in building strong supplierrelationships and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure stability andcollaboration. + Technical& Contract Expertise: Proficient in understanding technical aspects ofcomplex products and managing contracts to ensure compliance and protectcompany interests. + Cost& Negotiation Skills: Sophisticated in cost analysis, modeling, andnegotiation to optimize procurement expenses and secure favorable supplierterms. + Sustainability& Cultural Competence: Knowledgeable in sustainability practices,regulatory compliance, and working effectively in global, culturally diverseenvironments. + Leadership& Ownership: Demonstrates initiative by independently leading keyinitiatives, effectively guiding peers, and ensuring clear communication ofobjectives and results. **What You Bring (requirements)** + Bachelor’sdegree in engineering, business, or a comparable field. + 6+years of experience preferably in a related field. + Highproficiency in data analysis and tools like MS Excel, and Power BI. + Excellentcommunication and presentation abilities, as well as high proficiency in slidepreparation. + Willingnessto travel approximately 20% both domestically and internationally. + Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the needfor current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
