Waters Wilmslow are seeking an expert Indirect Commodity Manager to join the team! 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Procurement Organisation in Europe.  This role will be responsible for analysing data and identifying cost savings, negotiating contracts and supplier management.

 

This is a full time, permanent position working in a hybrid model 3 days on site.

 

Responsibilities Analyse spend data and identify areas for consolidation and cost downs in the EMEA regionNegotiate indirect contracts for best price, quality and termsEvaluate, audit and manage suppliers to ensure compliance to business goalsMitigate risk and benchmark against industry practices and processes. Market analysis of suppliers in the relevant space Co ordination and management of projects that support the departmental practices Support the Procurement Operations team with indirect sourcingEnsure improvements are made in accordance with the requirements of: ISO 9001; ISO 13485; 21 CFR parts 11 and 820 and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001Ensure progress against departmental KPI’sProvide mentoring, support, guidance, and development to Procurement Operations buyers Qualifications

Qualification:

Bachelor of Business Studies and/or APICS Certified.

 

 

Experience: 

Demonstrated experience of negotiation and cost saving projects required.Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

Competencies:

 

Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, for example to ensure succinct report generation, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc across organisation.Must be able to work independently and connect with all levels of the organisation.Computer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage - in order to produce reports, analyse data  optimally.

 

Travel may be required.
