Communication | event management internship: support the society & community engagement program
Introduction

As an Employee Giving intern, you will help build a culture of volunteerism amongst ASML employees and strengthen the local community in our key focus areas of attractive/inclusive communities and STEM education. Every ASML employee gets 8 hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO) every year. There are many ways to help others, whether it's helping at the local food bank, giving a lesson at a local school or donating blood to save lives. By donating your time, skills or resources to non-profit organizations and causes, together, we can really make a difference.
 

Your assignment

This internship takes place within the Society & Community Engagement team of ASML, with a focus on Employee Giving. We design and set-up volunteering and giving programs to enable employees to help the local community thrive. As part of the team, you can unleash your creativity by thinking about new opportunities for making a difference and you will help the team in setting-up and supporting the programs and the projects or events related to Employee Giving.
 

Key deliverables include (but are not limited to):

You will help organize and execute employee volunteering events, collaborating as needed with local community organizations with the goal of engaging employees and fostering employee pride.

Assist Society & Community Engagement Program Managers in executing ASML community engagement and employee volunteering program and ensure alignment with corporate goals and policy.

Help build awareness of and support for the Employee Giving program.

Maintain the volunteering portal up to date by uploading and managing events.

Data analysis on the participation rate of employees.

Other duties as needed to support the team with daily tasks. 
 

This is a master or bachelor internship for minimum 6 months, 4 days per week. You are expected to be minimum 2 or 3 days on-site. The starting date of this internship is as soon as possible.
 

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

Are a bachelor or master student in marketing, communications, event management, business, or a related field.

Have the ability to organize activities, create structure and drive results.

Are ambitious, persistent and have a can-do mentality.

Have great professional communication skills in English.
 

Other requirements you need to meet

You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
