Communication and Change Management Manager

About the role:

The Communication, Change Management Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to facilitate organizational change, ensure effective communication, and enhance both internal and external branding efforts. This role ensures that all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the changes being implemented, while also promoting a consistent brand identity across the organization and on the local market. The manager will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, marketing, and other departments to drive change adoption, strengthen the company’s brand, and maximize employee and customer engagement.

 

Key responsibilities:

Communication planning and delivery  Develop and execute GBS communication plans that effectively convey the GBS vision, mission purpose, benefits, and progress of the GBS journey to all stakeholders across the globe. Ensure consistent and clear GBS messaging across various corporate channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, global space, GBS landing page, town halls, and social media.  Organize and facilitate GBS town halls, conferences, and events. Work with leadership in all GBS hubs to craft messaging that resonates with different cultures and audiences, from senior management to frontline employees. Coordinate with the corporate communication and marketing team to ensure alignment of internal and external communications.  Internal Branding Lead efforts to build and reinforce the GBS internal brand, ensuring that it aligns with the external brand image and organizational values.  Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive organizational culture. Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate branding into employee onboarding, training, and development programs.  External Branding Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that external branding efforts are consistent with internal messaging and company values. Support the development and execution of recruitment campaigns on the GBS hub local markets that will attract a proper talent pool.  Work with external partners and agencies to enhance the company’s brand presence in the market.  Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the change process. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to gather input and adjust strategies as needed. Continuous Improvement Regularly assess the effectiveness of communication and branding strategies, making improvements based on feedback and outcomes.  Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in change management, organizational communication, and branding.

 

About you:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Human Resources, or similar. Proficiency in English, both written and oral. Additional European languages (DE, FR, NL) are appreciated but not required. Travel requirements: frequency - up to 30% of the time; location: GBS hubs. 5-7 years of experience in communication, change management, and branding, with a proven track record of leading successful initiatives in these areas. SSC and/or GBS experience. Working in a multicultural team spread across the globe in many different time zones. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work reliably and with colleagues in virtual teams. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Process). Proficiency in using communication and branding tools and platforms. Understanding of brand management and marketing principles. Certifications: Prosci Change Management Certification or similar credentials are a plus.  Flexibility to work outside regular hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
