Communication Specialist
Description We are offering a short term + part-time contract employment opportunity for a Communication Specialist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks within the communication industry, primarily focusing on maintaining databases, enhancing brand awareness, and managing multiple social media platforms. Responsibilities: • Manage and update databases with accurate, real-time information in line with established practices and procedures. • Enhance brand awareness through the creation and distribution of engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook Insights, Instagram, and LinkedIn. • Attend and actively participate in all relevant meetings, whether in-person, on-site, or remote. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills, addressing and resolving customer inquiries swiftly and effectively. • Share constructive feedback, innovative solutions, and ideas with leadership to improve overall performance. • Identify training needs and communicate them to the leadership team for further action. • Maintain the utmost confidentiality respecting information obtained within the scope of the role, in accordance with policy and procedure expectations and in compliance with relevant regulations. • Execute job responsibilities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and practices. • Contribute to external communications, including email communications and brochures, to enhance the company's image and reach. Requirements • Must possess strong proficiency in Facebook Insights, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms • A strong understanding and implementation of brand awareness strategies is required • Experience in designing and creating brochures and other promotional materials • Proven track record in campaign planning and execution • Adept at using design software and tools • A thorough understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred • Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
