Guidehouse is searching for a Communications Analyst to work within a busy and growing cross-functional team supporting our work at the NIH. The position will be based in Rockville, Maryland. The Communications Analyst will be a content writer and contribute to outreach campaigns for internal and external audiences, including researchers. This position will support the team’s busy and growing scientific and software engineering sections. The work environment is highly collaborative and team-based.
What You Will Do:
Elevate written and digital communication strategies for both internal and external communication products and servicesProvide communications expertise and support for all Branch activities including, but not limited to: websites, FAQs, presentation materials, leadership talking points, scientific manuscripts, and other communication vehicles. This may include technical writing and editing such as software user guides and scientific publications.Develop and implement a social media calendar and create posts with strong visuals and messageEvaluate metrics of communication initiatives to improve writing and messaging strategiesDevelop relationships quickly, strategically, and effectively across NIAID, focusing on researchers and collaboratorsFacilitate and manage grassroots efforts to engage with researchers and collaborators across the Institute
