We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Communications and Employee Experience Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of internal communications and employee engagement strategies, ensuring that MTE’s employees are informed, engaged and aligned with our company’s values, culture and purpose. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to organize initiatives that promote engagement and a positive workplace culture. Additionally, you will craft clear, consistent, and engaging communications that inspire and resonate with staff.
Responsibility Assist in developing and distributing internal communications to ensure employees stay connected with company updates and initiatives; Collaborate, write, edit and design a range of internal communication materials, including announcements, newsletters, presentations and intranet content; Create visually engaging and impactful content that fosters employee engagement and conveys key messages effectively; Plan, organize and facilitate company-wide events aimed at enhancing engagement and internal communication; Ensure all communications align with MTE’s brand guidelines, maintaining a professional and cohesive tone; Collect and analyze employee feedback to continually refine communication strategies and improve engagement; Track and measure the effectiveness of internal communication and engagement initiatives using key metrics; Collaborate with external vendors when required to execute communications and engagement projects; Assist in planning and promoting company events, employee engagement activities and community involvement initiatives; Participate in company events, including after-hours activities, to foster community and engagement; Organize and execute recognition programs, team-building activities and employee celebrations; and Maintain accurate records and reports related to communications, employee experience and engagement initiatives. Requirements Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; 1-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations or human resources, with a focus on employee engagement preferred; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail; Proficiency in design and communication tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office; willingness to learn new software as needed; Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to working in a small team environment; Strong design skills and experience creating digital content to support internal communications; Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality; and The successful candidate must possess a valid class G driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for work related travel.
