Communications and Network Technical Supervisor
Description

Provide leadership in the development and execution of communications technology and architecture for a university medical system including the design, planning, assessment, implementation and operation of wireless & network access control (NAC) projects. Lead design and implementation of wireless network solutions for new healthcare facilities; conduct network assessments, site surveys and spectrum analysis for optimal and secure wireless LAN performance. Evaluate network technologies including cloud-based wireless platforms, security technologies, and AI-ML-based analytics and operations. Automate network configurations and operations using software and tools. Oversee management of enterprise project deliverables including project deliveries, project tasks, project documentation and reports, build, installation, performance monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance. Lead a team of network engineers in the implementation and support of network equipment, network software, daily operational incidents, service request tickets, incident escalation, network maintenance and network configuration. Manage day-to-day support of the 24 x 7 production environment of ISS enterprise network including Cisco routers, switches, ASRs, Palo Alto, ASA firewall, VOIP, and other enterprise communication management infrastructures. Oversee resource allocation and management including weekly huddles and performance reviews.

Annual range: $178,880 to $227,700/year
