Communications Assistant
Our Client, an Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Communications Assistant for their Bowling Green, KY location. Responsibilities: + Assist in organizing and executing plant events to build employee enthusiasm, engagement and recognition + Compose articles, take photos/videos, and edit documents to meet strict deadlines + Maintain, analyze and create content for plant Facebook group + Design, develop and edit presentations + Respond to, aid, and interact with Corvette customer base as necessary + Host and assist with corporate leadership visits and other VIP tours + Support Communications Manager with all other duties as required Business group: + Here at the Bowling Green plant, we assemble Corvette Stingray, Z-06, E ray and ZR 1. + We have the performance build center where we handcraft engines for both Corvette and Cadillac. + My role within the facility is communications manager, so I work within multiple buckets but one of those being employee engagement. + Also, deal with reputation, so that is how the plant is viewed by public and community relations. + Also, assist with coaching counseling (help senior leaders and group leaders with communication and how they interact with people). The main responsibilities: + They are responsible for different content creations that will go on Facebook and other social media platform. + Also, they will be responsible for different video work, editing, photo taking, captioning and presentation creation (They will be training with me mostly). + They will attend external events with me, probably will take pictures and on the job learning. + The content creation will be internal. + Whatever we think the workforce needs more education on, the candidate will be responsible for putting that in graph form and making it visually appealing to capture audience attention. Example: + Previous contractor from AGS created different collages from different events that Client hosted such as the ZR1 reveal. + Responsible for taking photos, setting up go pros, being a runner for some different things, hosting some media and created a nice collage for the plant. + Also, created flyers for different events, video captioning for weekly videos that they tape for senior leaders. + Also, created an employee-based poster for a performance build center that highlighted the different products that they build the face of every builder who build those. Requirements + Professional/business verbal and written communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft office platforms and video editing experience. + Must have graduated high school. + Also, student must be enrolled in WKU, Sky CTC (Technical college) or accredited university. + Years of experience: Student must have some working experience during high school or while in college. Preferred: + Adobe platform proficiency, dynamic presentation creation, design creativity, social media savvy. + All of this is negotiable if this person is self-motivated and resourceful…I am looking for their resume to be Highly Organize. + Good diction, word tense is correct and how they communicate their experience. + This will be double confirmed in the interview process… Also, video editing experience or won an award for speech will stand out. Top 3 must-have hard skills: + Professional/business verbal and written communication skills + Proficient in Microsoft office platforms and video editing experience + Preferred: Adobe platform proficiency, dynamic presentation creation, design creativity, social media savvy.
