As an essential part of the Security department, you’ll work with the Dispatch team! Here, you will operate and monitor the base radio console with nine frequencies. **Job Status/Type:** Seasonal **Position Level:** Associate **Shift/Schedule Requirements:** Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. **Typical Work Schedule** + 3-5 days per week + Shifts can vary based on business needs and holidays **Benefits** **& Perks** + Free entry to **ALL** Six Flags Entertainment parks! + Complimentary tickets for friends and family + Discounts on food and park merchandise + Employee-only events and gatherings **Positions are currently available for those who are** **18** **or older.** Responsibilities: **As** **a** **part of the Carowinds** **Dispatch** **team, y** **our daily assigned duties would be as follows** **:** + Dispatch all routine and emergency traffic for assigned channels, including police/security and all first aid and fire department calls. + Monitor weather radar and lightning detector and adviseappropriate units of weather conditions as directed by management. + Complete detailed reports before the end of scheduled shift on incidents occurring on the property. + Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. + Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: + Park experience **OR** dispatch experience. + Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. + Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. + Driver’s license required.
