Job Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to internal channels (MagNET (intranet), MagnaNOW (digital signage), MyLife (employee app), Cerkl (email)) by posting and distributing timely, engaging content and monitoring engagement.Support content development and execution for Magna’s social media channels.Support creating and distributing HR-related content, such as organizational changes and policy updates.Monitor engagement metrics for communications channels.Help support internal events, including logistics, project management, and content development.Support broader marketing and communications team on projects and events as assigned.
 

Qualifications:                                                                                          

Pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or similar fieldAbility to travel to/from office locations

Education / Experience

Previous internship experience a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of AP style preferred

Special Knowledge / Skills:

Strong writing and editing skillsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and professional presenceStrong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work both independently and in team environmentsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and other relevant software applicationsExperience in SharePoint a plusExperience in graphic design a plus (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
