The Program
Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Summary
The Corporate Communications Intern position will be responsible for assisting with global corporate internal and external communications for the Communications function. This includes executing a strategy designed to increase the global visibility and awareness of Mallinckrodt.
The Corporate Communications Intern role will also assist in managing and executing the company’s digital presence, including social media platforms, Mallinckrodt’s external website content, the internal intranet and managing the company’s Corporate Brand.
Essential Functions
Assist the Corporate Communications team in the development and implementation of internal and external communications and activations.
Help support communication initiatives (town hall meetings, leadership initiatives, etc.)
o Assist in day-to-day activities for MNK’s corporate digital platforms:
Creating and managing MNK content (e.g., written, imagery, video)
for the digital screens, intranet and internet
o Curating relevant and appropriate third-party content for social
media platforms that appeal to our audience.
Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field is required. Advanced degree and/or previous Communication related internships are preferred.
Skills: Excellent written, verbal and social communications skills
