Role/ Department: Communications Manager, Chief Administrative Officer and Human Resources/Corporate Internal Communications
 
The Communications Manager, CAO and Human Resources is responsible for providing counsel, strategy, planning and overseeing the execution of strategic communications on behalf of the office of the Chief Administrative Officer to drive engagement and alignment with organizational goals. The Chief Administrative Officer currently oversees all activities related to Human Resources, Workplace Services and Security, as well as the governance and administrative routines for the C-suite and CEO. This role will work directly with the Chief Administrative Officer and counsel and plan for multi-channel campaigns related to executive visibility/thought leadership, company-wide initiatives and divisional priorities.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and self-starter with exceptional writing and storytelling abilities. They must also have vast experience in advising C-level executives and senior leaders on communications strategies and possess strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Content will focus on employee-related initiatives such as the employee experience, performance management, benefits, compensation and recognition programs, among others. Human resource communications experience is welcome, but not required. Must also be an effective manager, guiding a nimble team with myriad responsibilities.  


The key responsibilities of the role include:
•    Participates in the planning, development and coordination of internal communication programs for large scale divisional initiatives. 
•    Counsels executives and partners on communications strategies and programs to meet departmental and enterprise objectives. 
•    Develop thought leadership platforms through multi-channels on behalf of the divisional leaders.
•    Counsels and manages executive social media and digital presence.
•    Creates written and visual content to support objectives such as leadership memos, videos, infographics, digital newsletters, and internal articles.  
•    Ensures cascade of enterprise priorities and content within division. 
•    Ensures consistency of messages and brand through all communications globally. 
•    Coordinates and manages content for quarterly Town Halls.  
•    Interacts with all levels in the organization to produce desired materials. 
•    Tracks and reports quarterly metrics against annual goals and campaign objectives.   

Skills/ Qualifications:
•    Ten plus years of experience in corporate communications or journalism
•    Excellent storytelling, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills 
•    Ability to manage effective and nimble teams to accomplish objectives
•    Proficient in digital tools and possesses excellent skills with Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint and SharePoint.
•    Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute comprehensive divisional or initiative based communication plans 
•    Ability to counsel executives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 
•    Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations effectively
