STBG Communications Manager - Job Grade 4

What to expect in this position

The STBG Communications Manager will promote the expertise and capabilities of the STBG group by:

Developing communication plans to support the commercial objectives of each of the STBG businesses. Collaborating with Senior Stakeholders. Promoting news and project success, both within Laing O'Rourke and externally. Work closely with the Laing O'Rourke Corporate Communications team to maximise the impact and reach of communications. Define each STBG's key messages for both internal and external audiences. Work with the Laing O'Rourke corporate comms teams to ensure internal and external communications are fully aligned. Work with the Digital Communications Manager for media and website strategies. Develop internal communications that drives employee engagement.

What would help you in this role?

Experience of responding to media enquiries. Exposure to website development and social media content. Preparation of press releases and communications plans. Previous work with Directors and senior stakeholders. Ability to present high level and engaging content to external audiences. Circa 5 years of corporate communications. UK media landscape exposure. Video production and editing skills.

The role requires travel to sites and offices for gathering content. There are a few locations that can be used as the main office for some advice and support.
