Responsibilities
We are currently in search of a dynamic, passionate, and skilled Communications Manager to join the Sacramento market as part of the broader California region team. This role will be reporting to the Market Director of communications and will be instrumental in shaping and executing communication strategies within the market. The Communications Manager provides leadership and support for communications efforts in support of clinics, facilities and services within the Sacramento Market. The role works in coordination and under the direction and alignment with the region and system communications leadership teams respectively.
Develop and implement comprehensive internal & external communication strategies and plans to effectively communicate the organization's mission, values, and regional key messages to stakeholders, employees, other internal audiences (e.g., physicians, nurses, volunteers, etc.), and the markets we serveFunction as a point of contact for media inquiries to ensure that relationships with media representatives and outlets are managed, including proactive media pitches, press releases and media kits to generate positive media coverageDevelop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and respond to potential crises or emergenciesDevelop and execute public relations strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation within the communities we serve and across key stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and industry associationsDevelop strategies to monitor, manage and enhance the organization's reputation in the healthcare industry and the communities we serve, while addressing any negative sentiment or misinformation.Support executive visibility initiatives, including media interviews, speaking engagements, and industry conferencesSupport executive visibility initiatives, including media interviews, speaking engagements, and industry conferencesQualifications
Required:
