About This Opportunity The Communications Manager will join the InComm Marketing team as an individual contributor to conduct media relations and thought leadership campaigns that strengthen the InComm Payments brand across key industries such as payments, retail, healthcare, business and more. Working closely with the Corporate Communications Manager as well as Marketing Managers for various business units, the external Comms Manager will align their campaigns with the company’s overarching marketing strategy. We seek an expert who can identify journalists covering the industries within which InComm Payments works and secure opportunities for positive coverage about the company’s solutions and expertise. This expert will also support press release distribution and ensuring company news generates meaningful news coverage. Additionally, this expert will support crisis communications led by the Corporate Communications Manager and coordinate both proactive and reactive media responses supporting the company. This Comms Manager will have an opportunity to build on the company’s industry-leading legacy and expand its reputation to new industries and categories in the years ahead. Responsibilities Maintain media lists with current reporter and editors for target publications. Support regular media monitoring activities to identify industry news and opportunities to pitch InComm Payments insights for potential news stories. Collaborate with Corporate Communications Manager to coordinate reactive and proactive responses to media queries. Work with the InComm Marketing team to maximize the impact of one-off projects and recurring campaigns.
