To deliver effective, high quality, and engaging communications to the business, with content originating from GSK, the local site leadership team (SLT) and when appropriate, from external sources (e.g. government agencies) to support both the business and site strategy. To continuously improve the connection and understanding that site employees have with both company-wide and local strategies. To devise and implement internal communication strategies and plans, as well as adapting central initiatives to ensure they are inclusive and appropriate for the manufacturing environment and its complexities (e.g. shift working). Using relevant metrics to measure impact and generate insights to drive improvement. Manage key channels, including all-site town halls, leader meetings, and internal/external digital channels. Create content and activities to support local site performance and priorities on key topics such as safety, quality, continuous improvement, and HR matters. Ensure all local communication activities align with GSK's global purpose, strategy, and culture. Helps maintain the site's local reputation through effective crisis communications in close collaboration with the CGA global and LOC teams. Produce content that highlights the site's contributions to global priorities, including the deployment of GSK and GSC communication campaigns. Support the Site Director and leaders in the development of their communication skills. Why you? Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: GSCE or equivalent with excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Strong experience in a communications role with advanced levels of capability in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience in developing and executing communication plans and digital platforms that align with the company's vision and objectives. Ability to easily interact and collaborate with all levels in the organisation, including senior leaders. Ability to deal with sensitive issues confidentially. Brand savvy with an eye for graphic design applying company tone of voice into all communications. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Degree in Communications or equivalent by experience. Experience in healthcare would be a plus. Experience in internal communication and employee engagement Interest in external communication matters. Ability to simplify complex issues.
