About this opportunity: The Communications Manager, will partner with multiple internal clients to support strategic storytelling with key external and internal audiences. While the ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad range of abilities spanning communications and public relations, specific areas of focus will include:Developing and executing communication strategies to support executives, business leaders and our Investor Relations team in telling the company’s story and driving our growth strategy for investor and investor-adjacent audiences.Partnering with key leaders – including the chief financial officer – to lead internal executive and organizational communications for ADM’s global Finance organization.Working closely with ADM’s Government Relations team and business leaders to support aligned messaging efforts to advance ADM’s public policy positions and initiatives at the local, regional, national and global levels.Main Responsibilities:Work as part of ADM’s global communications team in telling the company’s story to key internal and external audiences.Act as lead internal communications partner for ADM’s Finance organization, including:Defining a communication strategy and plan for ADM’s Finance organization evolution, aligned to the key priorities of the functionPartnering with the CFO and key members of the finance leadership team to strengthen their communications with the finance organizationSupporting work to enhance external visibility and deliver on opportunities for senior leaders to tell ADM’s growth story to key external audiences. In close alignment with ADM’s Investor Relations team, evaluate and enhance the company’s use of varied communications channels – from news releases and interviews, to speaking opportunities and paid placements – to illustrate the company’s growth story to critical financial audiences.Partner with ADM’s global Government Relations team to develop and implement strategy, tactics and messaging to support the company’s public policy positions, advocacy efforts, and legislative activities at various levels of government.Demonstrate an ability to interact, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels, across geographies and businesses.Develop and grow a working knowledge of ADM’s history, strategy, culture, products and services.Qualifications, core skills and experience:5-7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related fields, including:Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear communications spanning channels (news releases, statements, scripts, presentations)Experience in media relations, including working with journalists and managing media inquiriesDemonstrated business acumen, with experience in financial communications a strong plus Comfort with changing priorities and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Professional demeanor with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Every position at ADM requires a commitment to integrity, safety, inclusion and quality.Experience in some or all of the following areas would be beneficial:The agribusiness or food manufacturing industriesPublic policy issues and the political processEducational Requirements:Bachelor's Degree is requiredExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
