Job Purpose/Role
The Communications team at Allianz Services manages the global end-to-end communications and change management both for the local and the global organization and to all our key audiences. Our aim is to enable engagement across all of our locations and lines of business, support transparent multiway communications irrespective of hierarchies and help all stakeholders know and understand our company.
We are looking for an experienced communicator to join us and support Allianz Consulting by leading their internal and employer branding communications to help drive employee engagement, steer communications topics to new realms and develop and implement formats that meet our employees' and clients' needs and preferences, through a multitude of channels and interactions.
Key Responsibilities
As Communications lead, you will play an essential role in the design and implementation of Allianz Consulting’s communications programs and events both locally and globally, in close collaboration with the Allianz Services global communications team. You will get to shape communications approaches that further the Allianz Consulting’s strategic goals and promote our business development, people and customer-related topics. You will get to drive and implement daring programs, streamline communications, use data to simplify and customize messages and continuously improve the efforts and results. You will lead a small team and be responsible for driving communications outcomes for the benefit of Allianz Consulting, part of Allianz Services.
You will be part of an international team of professionals and report to the to the Head of Global Communications for Allianz Services.

Further responsibilities
Lead and drive Allianz Consulting communications content promoting our strategy, purpose and projects in close collaboration with leadership in Allianz Consulting, our Chief Customer Office and the Allianz Services Global Communications team Functionally lead the Allianz Consulting communications activities and small team Be responsible for Allianz Services Germany communications Create high-quality, English-language stories from corporate content for all communication channels Present complex technical concepts in easy storytelling formats. Work with all departments across Allianz Consulting and important partners within the Allianz Group for the local cascade and successful alignment of key messaging for e.g. CSR activities, Olympic and Paralympic Movements, Employee Investor Day, etc. Help build leadership social media presence and coordinate with the employer branding and social media teams Work closely with leaders and executives to develop and strengthen employee engagement activities and develop networks within our global teams and locations to ensure our employees stay updated on current topics. Copy editing and proof reading of communications materials including external communications Develop new formats for communications that are scalable, and easy to understand Adapt to unpredictable and tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
University degree in communications, journalism or marketing or equivalent work experience Native proficiency in written and spoken English, German language skills of advantage Digital marketing and social media proficiency as well as familiarity with analytics tools Experience in leading people and topics in a global, matrix set up Solid storytelling competencies and project management skills, experience with leading projects and/or people Experience in organizing and managing events (both in person and virtual) and steering agencies At least eight years’ professional experience in the creative industry, journalism or corporate communications Flexibility and willingness to travel to Munich, Germany approximately 2 x per month Possesses the business acumen to translate ideas in business terms with business tools, such as the full complement of MS360. Initial experience using innovative tools and approaches including (Gen)AI to increase quality, efficiency and impactDesired requirements /skills /experience
Understanding of shared services, insurance, consulting services and asset management business Knowledge of any other languages spoken in our hubs might ease networking Able to derive insights from analytical tools to shape outcomes, package and present insights and data in creative, compelling ways.
