Communications Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Orlando, FloridaJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $95,000 - 105,000 per yearWe're seeking a Communications Manager to lead internal and external communication strategies for our restaurant brands and business units. This role will focus on public relations, employee communications, and reputation management, requiring expertise in media relations and collaboration with cross-functional teams to create impactful campaigns that engage both media and employees.Responsibilities: Strategic Communications & Leadership: Lead interactions with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to align communication strategies with business goals. Provide counsel to senior leadership, ensuring message consistency and impact. Public Relations & Media Strategy: Develop and execute PR campaigns, including media relations, brand storytelling, and executive visibility. Manage external PR agencies, oversee media pitching, and leverage PR tools such as press releases and media kits to enhance brand awareness. Internal & Executive Communications: Craft and disseminate key messages for executives, including speeches, presentations, and internal announcements. Support executive messaging at company events, annual conferences, and brand initiatives. Crisis & Issues Management: Identify and address potential reputational risks, develop crisis response plans, and serve on a rotating on-call schedule for issue monitoring. Collaborate with social media teams and restaurant operations to manage escalations. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management: Drive internal communications for HR initiatives, training programs, and cultural campaigns. Partner with finance, operations, and HR to support change management efforts and ensure effective internal messaging. Qualifications: 5+ years Public Relations, Media & Reputation Management: Strong experience in national and local media relations, brand-building PR strategies, and proactive issue and reputation management to protect and enhance brand perception. Strategic & Executive Communications: Expertise in crafting compelling executive communications, corporate messaging, and internal employee engagement strategies while ensuring consistency across multiple channels, including PR, social media, and internal platforms. Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies, balance multiple priorities, provide strategic counsel to executives, and deliver results on time and within budget.
