Job Summary:
BDO is seeking a senior manager to support one or more solution areas for Intelligence Community (IC) government agencies, to include strategic communications, financial management, operational business processes, data analysis, change management, and/or business process improvement. The individual in this position will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders within the Practice to manage business development, practice development, and project delivery activities. This position may include direct supervision of staff, performance management, problem resolution, task delegation, and/or client project execution. They will drive problem solving and fact finding, while working side by side with experienced team members, management, and client leadership, and will support or lead firm practice, solution, and business development initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assists with supervising the day-to-day workload of Public Sector direct reports related to client projects, business development, and other activities, including maintaining team productivity and review of work products Evaluates the performance of any Public Sector direct reports and assist in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development Delivers periodic performance feedback and completes the annual performance evaluation for Public Sector staff as appropriate Serves as mentor / career advisor to Public Sector staff as appropriate
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education
Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, preferred Master’s degree or relevant industry certification, preferred (see certifications below)Experience
Ten (10) or more years of information technology,analysis, operations, management, business, accounting, or finance experience, required Experience leading project delivery efforts for federal government agencies, required Progressive experience in managing or leading firm initiatives, client project activities, and/or staff, preferred Experience leading or supporting Public Sector practice, solution, and/or business development initiatives, preferred Public speaking and/or training experience, preferredLicense(s)/Certification(s)
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance, required , Relevant industry certification preferred, such as CPA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM, CISA, and/or Lean Six Sigma, preferredSoftware
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), required Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), preferredLanguage(s)
