Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:


The Marketing and Communications Officer II develops, implements, monitors and
evaluates an annual resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement communications plan that supports the over-all resource mobilization goals and stakeholder engagement strategies of Ateneo that is consistent with its mission and values. The position works closely, and will be under the creative direction of the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO).


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Communication and Public Relations

Develops and executes strategic communication plans that emphasizes resource mobilization activities, subject to the review and endorsement of the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to ensure compliance with University branding guidelines Conceptualizes, develops and manages the production of communication and marketing materials/collaterals needed for all resource mobilization campaigns and events; including but not limited to engagement and formation, awareness raising, donor acquisition, donor management, and brand-building Develops, manages, and utilizes different media channels, including online media, to promote and communicate the various programs, activities and events of the Office of University Development and Alumni Affairs (OUDAA). Oversees the timely and continuous dissemination of resource generation communications Collaborates with the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to engage with the press, ensuring accurate and strategic media coverage of the various programs, activities and events of the OUDAA. Provides timely and relevant information to the press as needed to enhance visibility and support the University's fundraising and stakeholder engagement and formation efforts

II. Communication Strategy and Performance Analysis

Develops Ateneo’s Case Statement and key resource mobilization messages in collaboration with the Advancement Head and UMCO ensuring that these messages are consistently and accurately conveyed across all communication channels Works with the Alumni Formation & Services Officer of the OUDAA in creating communication in support of Alumni engagement & formation programs that is aligned to the overall communication strategy to be developed Helps in conducting media monitoring to identify and assess opportunities for the University to engage in resource mobilization activities, such as potential partnerships, funding opportunities, or public awareness campaigns, by keeping track of relevant news, trends, and discussions in various media outlets Helps in evaluating the effectiveness of various communication channels and platforms by analyzing performance metrics and audience engagement Makes necessary adjustments to communication strategies to enhance impact and achieve better results in resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement

III. Performs other work-related tasks as may be required by the immediate
supervisor and authorized representative
