Communications Operations Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern with a focus on Information Systems, Data Science, or Data Engineering. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and operations management, utilizing tools such as Power BI and programming language such as SQL. Qualifications Working toward an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science, information systems, data science and analytics, data/software engineering or similar field with a 3.0 GPA or above. Candidates must be entering sophomore, junior or senior year to be considered. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel Familiar with SQL Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills Able to manage priorities and work autonomously as appropriate Proven ability to meet deadlines Maintains confidentiality Responsibilities Assist in the collection, cleaning, and processing of data from various sources to support operational metrics and reporting. Utilize SQL to query large datasets and extract meaningful insights to inform decision-making processes. Create visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate operational performance and trends to stakeholders. Collaborate with the operations team to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop analytical reports for continuous improvement initiatives.
