Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Communication Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic, analytical, and creative skills, with a deep understanding of audience behavior and media consumption. As a Communication Planner, you will develop and execute strategic communication plans to ensure our messages reach the right audience, at the right time, through the most effective channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support company initiatives and campaigns, ensuring messages reach the right audience at the right time.Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand audience behavior, preferences, and media consumption, including customer behavior and journey mapping.Craft targeted messages and select appropriate channels (social media, email, digital ads, traditional media, etc.) to engage the audience effectively.Collaborate with marketing, PR, creative, and media teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to facilitate cohesive and consistent messaging.Analyze campaign effectiveness using KPIs, analytics tools, and customer feedback to optimize future communications.Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance communication strategies.Specialized Skills:
Audience Segmentation & Behavioral Insights: Understanding different customer segments, their behaviors, and how they engage with content to tailor messaging effectively.Omnichannel Strategy Development: Planning integrated campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, email, print, digital ads, etc.) to create a seamless customer experience.Data Analytics & Performance Measurement: Using tools to track campaign success and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.Persuasive & Adaptive Messaging: Crafting compelling messages that align with brand voice and adapting them for different audience needs, cultural contexts, and platforms.Customer Retention & Loyalty: Developing communication strategies to reduce churn, increase engagement, and promote loyalty programs.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.Proven experience in communication planning, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics software.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Education: Typically, Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically, 5 - 8 years of experience in a related field.

Our Managers earn between $118,800 - $178,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
