What You Will Do:
As a Communications Senior Consultant, you understand the importance of strategic communications as being foundational to the understanding and buy-in of initiatives that support the organization's mission. You will support cross-functional organizations in the development and implementation of a communications strategy. You have the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups, distill complex and technical concepts into business terms, and recommend solutions that will ultimately shape and influence stakeholder buy-in of future organizational efforts. You will work with senior executive clients and fellow teammates to drive transformation across the organization.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Draft high-quality written materials, across various mediums, for senior leaders

Develop campaign goals and think strategically to influence key stakeholders, the public, and other audiences in order to communicate an organizational objective

Develop dynamic content (to include, but not limited to, website copy, talking points, blog posts, emails, leadership messages, and briefing materials) to effectively communicate the client’s strategic goals

Understand a variety of targeted audiences and develop content to strategically inform and influence across a variety of audiences

Take complex subject matter content and communicate into meaningful plain language messaging to a variety of audiences (i.e. senior executives/leadership, the general public, Congress, etc.) that clearly communicates the “what” and the “why”


What You Will Need:

Bachelor's Degree

Five (5) or more years of experience developing and implementing strategic communication plans in a Health-related setting

Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management

Demonstrated ability to effectively and successfully engage with and brief senior leaderships on findings, processes, goals, and recommended solutions

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Background or experience in public relations, marketing, crisis communication, advertising, persuasion theory, and communication campaigns

Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives

Adept at learning the client business, creating internal partnerships, fostering collaboration, and engaging disparate stakeholder groups

Experience developing strategic communications in line with organizational strategic priorities and objectives

Experience working in public health

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
