Our company is looking for a Communications Specialist to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.
DeVine offers a variety of services to our clients, including but not limited to: corporate strategic communications & planning, internal & external communications, promoting & marketing successes
The Communications Specialist will be an important stakeholder in public affairs tasking. All of the following will be regular duties: conducting interviews, writing, editing, and obtaining release/approval for articles, feature stories, news releases, and statements, including electronic, web based, and hard copy material

Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Communications field, public relations, or marketing and 2+ years' related experience OR 6+ years' related experience in the field for public relations, public affairs, legislative engagement or journalism
+ Experience in research, conducting interviews, writing, editing, and obtaining release/approval for articles, feature stories, news releases, and statements, including electronic, web based, and hard copy material
+ Experience in social media platforms and use of analytics such as Hootsuite
+ Proven ability to support employee communication programs and products, media relations programs, community relations, special events, and provide photography support
+ Current Secret Clearance or higher

+ Compensation: $84K to $104K per year salary range, DOE and skills
