Communications Specialist – Poppulo

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Communications Specialist to manage internal communications for our internal sales engagement platform. This role involves overseeing the deployment, measurement and impact of messages, updates, and announcements to ensure effective and continuously optimized communication within the sales team and broader internal stakeholders.
This individual will be a proactive and organized individual to serve as the primary point of contact in Workfront for managing various marketing communications. Responsibilities include receiving copy documents, timing, and requests from marketers for the following communications: _Monthly Newsletters, Test Changes, General Announcements, Webinars, Events & Conferences._
The role involves ongoing support and management of the content calendar, including scheduling and copy placement in **Poppulo,** as well as testing, revising, and deploying campaigns. Additionally, this position will support reporting and campaign performance measurement, manage sales and marketing distribution lists, centralize deployed communications in the SMC Alliance Hub, and support Sales Intel measurement for both marketing and sales activities. Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and familiarity with marketing tools are essential.
**Roles and Responsibilities** :
+ Support marketing sales communication and engagement strategy to deliver Labcorp’s vision and business priorities to the Diagnostics commercial audience.
+ Support sales readiness to enable effective sales campaign planning and profitable growth.
+ Develop, manage, and own the sales communication strategy that promotes the company's vision and supports our commercial audience.
+ Lead a technology-enabled internal communications process to operationalize marketing-led communications, harmonize tracking, and enable accurate analysis.
+ Stage, review, and deploy content for the sales engagement platform, ensuring timely and accurate messaging to internal sales teams.
+ Incorporate industry trends, competitive research, and performance metrics to optimize engagement with commercial audiences.
+ Evaluate marketing-led communications to ensure they support business priorities and strengthen connections with the commercial team to drive revenue.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, leadership) to review and approve communications, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
+ Address and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring correct message deployment.
+ Recommend optimizations of engagement strategies based on data-driven insights.
+ Make sound decisions and move work forward in the face of ambiguity.
+ Collaborate with teams to gather content, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.
+ Lead the deployment process, resolve issues, and maintain records of communications.
+ Support recurring meetings with partners and stakeholders to provide status updates, share performance, offer recommendations, and solicit feedback for alignment.
+ Build support and buy-in for strategies to foster engagement.
+ Work collaboratively with marketing and sales colleagues to move initiatives to market using agreed-upon processes.
**Qualifications Required:**
+ 5+ years of work experience in marketing, marketing automation or sales enablement with bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields of communications, marketing or business administration.
+ Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
+ Experience with internal communication tools, particularly **Poppulo** or similar marketing automation platforms, CRMs and project management tools (ie. Salesforce, Eloqua, Workfront, Poppulo).
+ Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
+ Ability to effectively and accurately support the management of a content calendar.
+ Proficiency in analyzing data, customer insights, and campaign performance metrics to inform decision-making and optimize sales engagement strategies.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution within budget constraints.
+ A clear, concise, and timely communicator.
+ Demonstrated ability to consistently thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and adapt strategies to changing market conditions and competing priorities.
+ Demonstrated ability to prepare, schedule and ensure timely and accurate delivery of internal communications.
