As a member of the Corporate Communications team within the company’s dynamic Marketing department, the Communications Specialist is responsible for crafting and delivering clear, compelling messages across multiple platforms. This role involves creating content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and internal communications and assisting in the management of media relations. The ideal candidate excels in storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, they should be adept at handling crises, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success:

Create compelling and impactful messaging to effectively engage a diverse range of audiencesDevelop, write, edit and approves relevant content for all traditional and digital outlets, including news releases, blog posts, customer communications, FAQs, fact sheets and talking pointsCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather accurate and relevant content for presentations and publicationsOptimize content for use across multiple communication channelsServe as editor for materials produced within Corporate Communications and other business unitsRegularly identify new media contacts and maintain an up-to-date department media listMonitor and compile monthly report of print, video, broadcast and social media coverageMeasure the effectiveness of communications efforts and recommend improvements based on data insightsAdhere to Associated Press (AP) style and organizational guidelines in all written communicationsEnsure the timely and accurate delivery of all communication materials

Qualifications

3+ years’ experienceBA DegreeProficient with Microsoft Office
