What You Will Do:
Develops, updates, and publishes program/organizational materials, design and distributes them for internal and external audiences
Maintains a vibrant and active social media presence on selected platforms to create a substantial online presence
Has experience in graphic design using the Adobe creative suite
Maintains the program and organizational websites so they remain compelling and current, develops communications plans and manages internal program/organizational communications, supports media relations efforts including development and distribution of story ideas, press releases and media interviews
Responds appropriately to media inquiries which may include developing key talking points for the leadership team and supports writing/tracking/reporting for grants
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust
Bachelor's degree in mass-communications, business, or related field
FIVE (5) or more years specialized experience in graphic design, social media strategy, communications strategy, or other relevant work
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience creating and designing the following: Infographics/one-pagers, logos/brand identity, presentations, reports
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Pro, Photoshop, etc.)
Experience creating animations/short videos
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
