Your role and responsibilities

ABB is looking for a motivated and talented Communications Specialist to join our Finance & Account-ing Operations (FAO) communications team in Bangalore for a fixed term contract of 6 months. The role involves supporting the Communications Manager in executing communication strategies and initia-tives. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in communications, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being open to supervision and guidance.The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite, #LI- HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupport Communication Strategies: Assist in the development and implementation of commu-nication plans that align with the department's goals and values.•\tContent Creation: Help produce high-quality content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.•\tStakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messag-ing and alignment with overall business objectives.•\tEvent Coordination: Assist in planning and executing internal events such as town halls, work-shops, and training sessions.•\tMeasurement and Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.•\tAdministrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Communications Manager, in-cluding scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining communication records.

Qualifications for the role

\tEducation: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.\tExperience: 2-3 years of experience in communications within an agency or corporate envi-ronment.\tSkills - Strong written and verbal communication skills.\tGood organizational and project management abilities.\tProficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletter tools, etc).\tAbility to work collaboratively and build relationships at all levels of the organization.\tCreative thinking and problem-solving skills.
