The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG provides differentiated solutions in Advanced Analytics, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Cyber Analysis, C4ISR Modeling and Strategy & Policy. SSAG provides support to US Strategic Command and the NC3 Enterprise Center for technology research, prototype / demonstration project management, architecture analysis, operational assessments, modernization planning and program protection.
SPA has an immediate need for a Communications Specialist Project Manager.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is for a Communications Specialist Project Manager to support modernization of the NC3 architecture. Responsibilities include an ability to apply operational and technical expertise to inform communications architecture prototyping and experimentation. Participates in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data and information in order to present potential solutions and recommendations. Participates in the development and/or implementation of necessary tests, experiments, demonstrations, assessments, and analytical procedures and processes. Participates individually or as a team member on study and analysis efforts. Support project management duties required for successful completion of complex projects and programs. Interfaces with client and program management on technical, operational, and/or analytic requirements. Ensures adequacy, accuracy, and quality of relevant contract deliverables. May represent company at meetings, seminars, and other professional gatherings. May prepare material for presentations or discussions relative to progress of the program. Performs other duties as assigned. Work location is at Offutt AFB, Nebraska with possibility of periodic travel.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience in telecommunications areas.Must maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Special Access Required (SAR) classified material.At least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command with expertise in communications in fixed, mobile, and airborne multi-command C2 communications.Knowledge of communications architecture to support senior leader C2, NC2/NC3 operations.
Desired Qualifications:
5 years of experience supporting Senior-level communications at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or DoD OSD levels.Master's Degree.Knowledge of next generation communications and information technology capabilities.
