Communications Strategist Specialist

M2.0 is looking for a Communications Strategist Specialist who is ready to move from day‑to‑day PR execution into a more strategic role. This position is ideal for someone with around three years of experience in PR or communications who wants hybrid work, more ownership of thinking, and exposure to more complex, integrated PR and digital campaigns.​

You will report to the Strategy Director and work closely with Client Servicing, Content, and Business Development to turn research and data into compelling communication strategies, pitch proposals, and campaign plans for both new and existing clients. This is a hybrid role based in [City], with [X] in‑office days for collaboration, workshops, and client sessions, and the remaining days for focused remote work.​

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and planning Translate client briefs and business challenges into clear communication strategies for PR and digital channels. Define target audiences, key messages, channel mix, and tactics that align with client objectives and available budgets.​ Research and insight development Use media monitoring, social listening, and desk research to understand industries, audiences, and competitors. Distill findings into sharp insights and strategic territories that inform pitch narratives and campaign ideas.​ Pitches, proposals, and campaigns Co‑develop PR and digital pitch proposals with Client Servicing and Content teams, helping craft the overall story and deck flow. Support the design of integrated campaigns, including objectives, KPIs, messaging frameworks, and measurement approaches.​ Client strategy support Partner with account leads to review ongoing campaign performance and recommend optimizations based on data and insights. Join client meetings to present strategies and insights, gradually taking on more responsibility for leading strategic conversations.​ Collaboration, mentoring, and quality Guide Research Assistants on research briefs, basic analysis, and deck structure, helping them grow while sharpening your own leadership skills.​ Support the Strategy Director in maintaining quality and consistency of strategy outputs, ensuring decks are clear, persuasive, and on‑brand.
