Job Description
Note: This is a hybrid position located in our Allen, TX office. Preferred candidate will reside in the Dallas Metropolitan Area.
Responsibilities for the group span the project life cycle and typically include the following pre-sale and post-sale elements:Customer requirements discoveryTechnology strategy developmentEnd-to-end system architecture designCompetitive proposal developmentContract negotiationsImplementation engineeringProfessional design servicesIn particular, you may assist Senior Systems Engineers with:Customer needs assessmentsEnd-to-end system designs including core infrastructure, tower sites, 9-1-1 dispatch centers, wireless backhaulEnd-to-end system architecture descriptionsCoverage predictions using state-of-the-art advanced toolsPost-sale implementationCoverage and operational testingIn-field site surveys for wireless backhaul designsSpecific knowledge/Skills:One to Two years of college level courses towards the obtainment of a B.S. degree in Wireless, Electrical, System or Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferredSpecialization or electives in wireless communication is a definite plusExcellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiencesSelf-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environmentExperience working with customers is desirableExperience/ Knowledge in radio systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, and/or networking is desirable.Experience/ Knowledge of communications networks (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) is desirableCertifications through CCNA, CompTIA, and/ or Amateur Radio/ HAM is desirableNote: This is a hybrid position located in our Allen, TX office.
