The Role
Our Architecture and Communities of Practice (CoP) team is seeking a Communities of Practice Manager. In this role, you will support the Communities of Practice leads to mature their communities, lead a community, and help create and promote new communities at WTW. You will manage the ongoing effectiveness of the CoPs, ensuring consistent processes, communication, digital presence, and objectives are met. This alignment will support our “common as possible, distinct when necessary” strategy.
We are looking for a pragmatic, collaborative, and hands-on individual who can work with technology and business stakeholders, leaders, and colleagues. The Communities of Practice Manager will be supported by a functional Architect and will lead the establishment of communities and manage the ongoing effectiveness of the practice.
Establish, Maintain Collaborative key relationships, Lead Communities of Practices Coordinate across all the Communities and align on process and approaches Lead the Automation Community of Practice and manage metrics KPI and Reporting Overall Community Performance Metrics and Reporting Support new and fledgling Communities to ensure they are successful Streamline and simplify the Communities of Practice targets (road maps) Liaise and coordinate with other communities outside of this team (e.g., Data COPs) Work closely with Architecture and CoP Leader and Program Director to manage communications and coordinate Digital Presence for the CoPs Own Stakeholder Management and Alignment as needed Provide Project Coordination and Business Case Assistance Lead Meetings and CommunicationsThe Requirements
Strong Project Management skill setStrong experience and knowledge of WTW Client Facing Product Lines and SystemsStrong experience in Portfolio and Backlog Management Exceptional relationship skills: ability to develop strong relationships quickly to collaborate and maximize resources effectively to achieve goalsProven success working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables through a self-sufficient mindsetStrong analytical skillsFoundational Knowledge and Experience in Cloud Technologies including Microsoft Azure, Office 365.Proficient Experience in Communities of Practice Technology and defining Business Value PropositionProficient Knowledge and experience supporting software development frameworks, Technologies and best practices.WTW is an Equal Opportunity Employer
