To achieve these goals, we’ll  build on the assets, experience, capabilities, and relationships we’ve developed more than 140 years to incubate and grow new business.    Overview   Th e Community Affairs Representative position is based in Denver, CO in the Rockies Business Unit (RBU) and will p rovide broad s takeholder e ngagement, c oalition- b uilding, and c ommunity r elations support to the Chevron Rockies Business Unit with the objective of preserving the right to operate, creating a favorable business climate for BU operations, and engaging with partners in a deliberate, consistent, and accountable way. As the Commun ity Affairs Repres entative for RBU , you will : + Serve as point of contact for stakeholder engagement and issues management at community meetings including town halls, regulatory hearings, etc. Coordinate with functional and technical team members as appropriate . + Build and foster relationships with external stakeholders including, but not limited to, local elected officials, industry coalitions, community partners, regulatory bodies, and neighbors/landowners within BU operating areas. + Maintain Grievance Mechanism, including tracking stakeholders and grievances through the identified system of record, managing a 24-hour hotline and mailbox, and responding according to BU endorsed plan. + Maintain internal community relations database, ensure all contact or activities are recorded, and run reports, as needed.  + Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with BU overarching stakeholder engagement strategy. + Develop and produce written and oral communications on BU operations for public dissemination including courtesy notices, informational flyers, FAQs, etc. Requirements + 8 + Years of experience in community engagement , public relations, corporate affairs, or related field. + Bachelor’s degree . + Proven ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels , including executives and build effective relationships. + D irect experience with Colorado oil and gas regulations and operations . + A bility to develop and maintain positive relationships with community , industry partners and other key stakeholders and adapt communication style to the intended audience . + Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences and possess strong public speaking skills . + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and engage external and internal groups on grievances and high-priority issues . + Deep knowledge and understanding of Colorado political and regulatory environment, with proven abilities in developing and executing strategic stakeholder engagement plans and building constructive relationships to support business objectives and community needs. + Strong community engagement skills with robust capability to contribute to multi-disciplinary groups and work collaboratively, fostering cooperation and teamwork . + Demonstrated stakeholder engagement project management skills, including strategic planning, managing multiple tasks, and successfully delivering projects . + Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency, provide forward looking strategies and recommendations, deliver work product with an attention to detail and time management. + Experience organizing community event s as needed including volunteer support, staffing coordination, collateral materials, etc. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with database management or CRM + E xperience managing difficult conversations and seeking collaborative outcomes Relocation Options: Relocatio n will not be considered .
