All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Per Diem **Shift** : Day **The community you’ll be caring for:** AdventHealth Community Clinic 2300 Kurt street Eustis FL 32726 **The role you’ll contribute:** The Advance Practice Registered Nurse and/or the Nurse Practitioner in the Community Clinic realm has the responsibility for assessment and management of patients’ day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care, ensuring all essential elements of the discharge plan / process are met. The APRN employee works in collaboration with the medical, nursing and support services to provide patient and family focused care. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + **Responsible for providing care for patients within the scope of licensure and as outlined in the FHW Protocols.** + **Responsible for performing physical examinations of patients.** + **Responsible for ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, x-ray, etc.** + **Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed.** + **Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.** + Responsible for ordering imaging, procedures, equipment, lab work and medications in collaboration with medical director. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** **Minimum qualifications:** + MSN (Master of Nursing) + Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising physician. + If practicing in the scope of an APRN, must have current licensure in the state of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. + ACLS/BLS certification.
