Community Connect Coordinator Upgrade Liason - Full tIme - Days Department: MVHS IT Job Summary The Community Connect liaison analyst will be accountable for the coordination of software, business need, system build, and regulatory requirements for Community Connect site and Mohawk Valley Health System Inc. Core Job Responsibilities + Extend Epic instance through the Epic Connect program. + Investigate, recommend solutions, and assist with the implementation processes and guidelines with Epic and all third party applications at the Community Connect sites. + Build, maintain and coordinate the regulatory functions of Epic. + Accountable for the project planning, execution and relationship managing with internal and external customers. + Assess, prioritizes and assigns new tasks for assigned projects in accordance with strategic plan, regulatory requirements, patient care/safety and or financial initiatives + Provide task schedule and level of effort estimates; document assumptions + Assist in the analysis and formulation of system requirements including new applications and change requests and communicating those requests to Information Management and Technology and/or vendors + Coordinate increasingly complex projects or work streams within the defined scope of the overall project. + Coordinate training for new features, upgrade changes and new module implementations. + Lead version and SU upgrades on a scheduled basis to keep applications and users current. + Maintain records for change requests, stage in approval process, training for change, and live dates. Regularly attends change control committee. + Support clinical disciplines and end user engagement, intentional design, and workflow control. + Perform other duties as required. Education/Experience Requirements REQUIRED: + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, a related field or equivalent experience. + 5 years of experience in IT or an analytical clinical discipline. + Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar applications. + Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, team, and time management skills. + Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills. + Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently, solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner + Demonstrated understanding of healthcare organizations, ancillary systems, and health system operations + Ability to travel to off-site locations PREFERRED: + Experience in Clinical Setting. + Prior project coordination experience in healthcare information systems, specifically Epic and/or Epic Connect preferred. + Experience with Electronic Health Records platforms (Epic), ITSM applications (KACE), HRIS (Infor), cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), AD (Active Directory) and other digital platforms and services.
