S:US is seeking a Community Coordinator for their adult families' shelter in Manhattan.

 

This position is located at 12 East 31 Street, New York, NY 10016.

 

 


The Community Coordinator will work as a member of a team to improve relationships between the Shelter program and the neighboring community including residents, businesses and Community Police Officers. Community Coordinators will focus on safety, security and quality of life issues. The Community Coordinator will assist in problem solving, communication and relationship building. Community Coordinators will identify resources in the community for Shelter residents and will develop collaborative community projects for both Shelter Residents and neighbors to participate in.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred2 years of experience in a large residential setting is requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills requiredValid Driver’s license with clean record subject to Agency’s insurance review and approval
