Community Developer Marketing Program Manager

The Azure Product Marketing organization is responsible for Azure’s global go-to-market approach, including defining the customer value proposition, determining the global marketing mix and investments to maximize product growth, developing memorable storytelling and impactful customer-engagement moments. Your role as the **Community Developer Marketing Program Manager** in Developer Audience Product Marketing, is part of the team responsible for establishing Microsoft Azure and our developer tools as the leading AI platform for every developer on the planet. You will be responsible for understanding the needs, challenges, and aspirations of all types of developers globally and Identifying and executing programs that empower developers where they are, at the right time, with the right resources. You execute go-to-market Community and marketing strategies to engage, inspire, and empower the developer audience at scale. You will do this in close partnership with our integrated marketing, engineering, product marketing, customer-facing teams, and the larger Microsoft AI community. You will use your technical skills, audience insight, organizational abilities, and influence across teams. As a problem solver and team collaborator, you navigate complex technical and business issues to find effective solutions with community and product teams. **Responsibilities** + Engage developers across in-person and digital communities. Every developer will become an AI developer, and many more people will become “developers” because of AI. + You will build programs to engage developers and help them on that journey with Microsoft. Through end-to-end adoption campaigns, compelling content in events, clear offers and ways to bring developers on the adoption journey, you’ll be responsible for increasing the customer base worldwide. + You will lead scalable community programs to stimulate interest, excitement and engagement with the developer audience. + You will build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, such as product, engineering, sales, partner, and integrated marketing teams, to develop insights and align goals, priorities, and plans for the developer audience. **Qualifications** Required/Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business + OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business + OR equivalent experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications + Ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization. + Budget and Forecast experience + Experience driving large projects from start to finish. + Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining attention to detail. + Passion for developers and experience nurturing customer relationships at scale. + Strategic mindset including interpreting data to inform strategy and execution. + Collaboration skills with experience developing relationships with a diverse range of partners. + People management and team building skills, with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion. + Software developer background Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
