CELE programs are centered around the areas of community-engaged learning, democratic engagement, leadership education, P-12 student success and place-based initiatives. **CELE Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Community-Engagement Analyst.** This position will play a key role in managing the implementation of a community-engagement (CE) management system to collect, track, manage, analyze and report community engagement activities and impact data at the UW Seattle campus. In collaboration with the broader community-engagement effort across the three UW campuses (Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma) the implementation of this CE management system will improve community engagement infrastructure to track and manage curricular and co-curricular community-engaged learning, research and engagement. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement in the CELE Center, with regular support and collaboration with the Technical Project Manager leading the tri-campus rollout of the community engagement management system, the Community-Engagement Analyst will have the following responsibilities: Constituent engagement and system adoption: 40% + Serve as the primary UW Seattle contact on adopting and managing the GivePulse data platform for community engagement, collaborating with the tri-campus Technical Project Manager, UW Bothell and UW Tacoma data systems leads, as well as internal and external stakeholders. + Function as a strategic leader in working with key stakeholders to successfully manage the implementation of a new tri-campus community engagement data tracking and management system (GivePulse) on the Seattle campus. + During the first year, this involves managing the successful transition from an in-house data platform (EXPO) to the new GivePulse system. + Engage potential campus partners in planning for and then utilizing the GivePulse data platform to support their community engagement tracking and management activities. + Develop and provide clear and effective training, documentation, resources and support for UW Seattle and community partners to utilize the GivePulse data platform. + In collaboration with the Technical Project Manager and counterparts on the Bothell and Tacoma campuses, advise on systems integration, data validations, and/or work-around processes for UW Seattle units—beginning with CELE Center programs and working with a broader circle of partner UW units, schools and/or programs over time.Business analysis: 30% + Define objectives, scope, risks, and success criteria with input from campus and community stakeholders. + Engage varied stakeholders to understand, identify, and document the workflow and process requirements related to the GivePulse data platform, listening to their experience, assessing options, and incorporating feedback into solutions that support the efficacy of utilizing the platform. + Work with key stakeholders to identify reporting, data analysis, visualization, and assessment requirements and goals and determine options for leveraging the functions of the GivePulse data platform to meet those requirements and goals. + Support stakeholders in developing and implementing reporting, analysis, visualization and assessment processes through leveraging the functions of the GivePulse data platform.Data system planning, implementation, and management: 20% + In collaboration with the tri-campus Technical Project Manager and campus stakeholders, define GivePulse system specifications, configurations, and requirements; and key responsibilities, processes, and deliverables specifically for community-engaged courses and other community engagement activities for UW Seattle users and stakeholders. + Determine and communicate to the tri-campus Technical Project Manager the data integration requirements from other existing or complementary data platforms currently in use across campus for tracking different aspects of community engagement. + Identify and incorporate new GivePulse functionality and enhancements and provide status updates for tasks and feature enhancements to the tri-campus Technical Project Manager, including timelines, testing, documentation and training.Community Engagement and Leadership Education (CELE) Center and UW contributions (10%) + Take part in CELE staff meetings; participate and/or facilitate meetings in alignment with the strategic direction of UAA’s community engagement and leadership education portfolio. + Participate in the tri-campus community engagement building capacity effort via meetings and communities of practice. + Remain active in the GivePulse community, including participating in webinars, trainings, and other professional development opportunities. + Assist, as needed, with other community engagement initiatives and institutional projects and activities, such as the Carnegie Foundation’s Elective Classification for Community Engagement and strategic planning efforts. + Other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor’s degree business administration, public administration, information systems or related field. + Three years professional experience in project management, business process improvement, data management and assessment and/or change management. **Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.** **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS** + Aptitude for developing collaborative relationships with colleagues, faculty, staff, students, and community partners. + Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately (through written word and public speaking) with varied stakeholders. + Demonstrated ability to self-organize, plan, manage, and administer complex projects. + Experience in data assessment and evaluation at a program and institutional level. + Experience guiding an institution or team through change. + Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to identify needs, assess options, and propose solutions. + Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how business/data systems can support those needs. + Demonstrated ability to learn new content areas quickly and be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications. + Experience as a participant and/or facilitator in community engaged learning, community outreach, community-based participatory research, or other forms of community engagement as part of a formal learning environment. + Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. + Proficiency with MS Office Teams and SharePoint. + Commitment to developing equitable, ethical and mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations between higher education institutions and broader communities. + Familiarity with GivePulse as a community engagement data tracking and customer relations management platform. **All UAA CELE Staff will demonstrate and integrate the following Undergraduate Academic Affairs Competencies:** + Accountability and Integrity + Race, Equity, and Difference + Constituent Focus + Collaboration and TeamworkDiversity Statement: Racial equity is a core value for the Community Engagement and Leadership Education (CELE) Center.
