As a Community Impact Co-op, you will be a critical member of the Community Affairs team that drives and supports community engagement in Campbell’s office and manufacturing locations across North America through employee giving programs, volunteerism, grantmaking, and community partnerships. You will gain valuable experience in corporate philanthropy and employee engagement, working with a team passionate about community impact and company culture.

This role is based at Campbell’s Headquarters in Camden, NJ. (across the river from Philadelphia, PA).

What we require of candidates:
• [Preferred] Currently enrolled in bachelor’s program; major in related field such as public health, business, social impact, communications, etc. is a plus
• [Preferred] 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excitement for learning and willingness to ask questions, including comfort in learning new technologies/systems
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Great relationship builder
• Passion for community/social impact
• Experience and comfort working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Canva, Prezi, Word Press, and other communications/graphics programs a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Volunteer Engagement and Events (35%)
• Support with the planning and implementation of Campbell’s signature volunteer initiative “Days of Service” across the enterprise
• Support planning and logistics for other employee volunteer events hosted on or off-site
• Manage registration and general communications for community events hosted at Campbell’s, including skills-based education sessions for nonprofit partners
• Research and connect with community partners across the enterprise to identify evergreen volunteer opportunities
Grants Management (30%)
• Communicate with grantees of The Campbell’s Foundation to collect requested information (i.e. payment info for new grants, submitting final reports)
• Analyze grantee final reports to pull stories and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
• Pull out grantee information for storytelling internally and externally
• Maintain lists of Community Affairs nonprofit/grantee contacts across the enterprise
Communications (15%)
• Assist in creating content for internal and external communications, especially on the Community Affairs page on Engage
• Collect and share local stories across company digital platforms (for both internal and external sharing)
• Identify and pitch community activations for Employe Resource Groups that align with heritage months
• Develop communications to promote end-of-year volunteer data collection
• Assist with the creation of “Cares Wrapped” end-of-fiscal community impact campaign
Platform Management (10%)
• Support “Campbell’s Cares” employee giving portal to ensure it’s current with available volunteer events, campaigns, etc.
• Support day-to-day operations of giving and metrics platforms; for example, reviewing employee match requests and uploading data
• Provide support and assist with creating resources to train employees on creating volunteer events and tracking their time on the giving portal; respond to general employee questions about the portal
Research & Analytics (10%)
• Assist with data collection and research projects related to volunteer service activities, grant administration, and signature programs
• Compile and aggregate data for annual surveys and reports
