Are you a high-performing, results-oriented individual passionate about community impact and fostering inclusive environments? We want you to apply! As an Community Impact Coordinator, you will work closely with key stakeholders to implement various initiatives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the execution of relevant programming, project management, and other strategies to foster an inclusive workplace for MSC associates while providing the highest level of service. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting strategic initiatives through assistance with community impact events, early career programs, and the execution of workplace culture plans. Recruitment Support: Phone Screenings: + Schedules and conducts initial phone interviews with candidates. + Assesses candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. + Provides feedback and recommendations to hiring managers. Interviews: + Coordinates interview schedules between candidates and interview panels. + Prepares interview questions and evaluation forms. + Follows up with candidates’ post-interview to provide updates and gather feedback. Career Fairs: + Supports planning and organizes company participation in career fairs and recruitment events. + Sets up and manages the company booth, ensuring it is well-stocked with promotional materials. + Engages with potential candidates, providing information about job opportunities and company culture. + Collects resumes and contact information for follow-up. Candidate Sourcing: + Utilizes various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking events). + Reaches out to passive candidates to gauge interest in open positions. Onboarding: + Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters. + Ensure new hires have all necessary resources and information to start their roles. Administrative Support: + Handles correspondence with candidates and hiring managers. Employer Branding: + Supports initiatives to enhance the company's employer brand. + Creates content for social media and the company website to attract potential candidates. + Participates in community outreach and networking events to promote the company as an employer of choice. Community Impact support: Oversee Grant Season: + Manages the grant application process, including reviewing submissions and coordinating with applicants. Community Engagement: + Plans and executes events that foster community involvement and support. Partnership Development: + Supports building and maintaining relationships with local organizations and stakeholders. Volunteer Coordination: + Supports recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for community projects. Impact Measurement: + Tracks and reports on the outcomes of community initiatives. Resource Allocation: + Ensures effective distribution of resources to maximize community benefit. Event/Conference Coordination Other duties to include: Intranet Maintenance: + Updates the intranet with events, resources, and photos. Communication: + Helps communicate commitments through annual reporting. Data Management: + Compiles and organizes data for industry surveys and professional development. Process Improvement: + Identifies and streamlines team processes. Collaboration: + Works with Corporate Communications, HR, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Recruiting, and HRIS. + Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose. + Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: + Associate’s degree in Business or related field, or the equivalent experience is required. + Experience creating project plans and event planning to support programs and initiatives. + Two years of demonstrated working experience. + Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. + Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & various databases. + High degree of confidentiality and experience handling sensitive information. + Ability to establish trust and inspire others through teamwork and collaboration. + Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; able to work in ambiguous situations. + Influencing without authority, thinking and performs proactively, and function independently with discretionary judgment. + Ability to interact with all levels of management. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage & connect to diverse groups and individuals. Bonus Points If You Have: + Two years in HR or related field preferred. + Understanding of inclusion in a corporate environment, preferred. + Experience working with Employee Resource Groups or other volunteer groups, preferred. Other Requirements: + A valid driver’s license may be required. + Position requires up to 10% of travel Compensation starting at $45010 - $60000 depending on experience. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity.
