Community Impact Measurement & Partnerships Lead

Are you someone who Is impact focused – who can define the social / community change Aviva aims to achieve and who can put in place the strategies and measurement to demonstrate it’s delivery? Do you have the ability to work with external experts and influence and integrate work with a wider range of internal stakeholders from customer facing teams to ExCo members?

We need a willingness to work right across Aviva, often in agile project teams with shared objectives, to improve customer outcomes and help Aviva grow its business and communicate its growing impact in a responsible and sustainable way.

A bit about the job: 

This is a key role in the Sustainability Function, leading the development and implementation of our Social Impact measurement framework across Aviva. This means owning our theory of change, defining our measurement approach and setting simple, compelling KPIs that demonstrate our impact – progressively moving from input and output measurement, towards outcomes and impact. The role will require collaboration and influencing across both the central Sustainability Function,  as well as Aviva’s Aviva’s business units  - helping to co-create plans for integration of social impact within our propositions, investments, communications and advocacy work,. This role will also lead on our key UK Social Action Community Partnerships to maximise the social and business impact of our partnerships and related programmes by driving market leading levels of employee and wider community engagement. We will do this by focusing and aligning our activities in a One Aviva way and driving clear social impact and customer/brand targets. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

Strong understanding of corporate responsibility, community investment and social impact. Effective risk management and governance skills and/or experience with an understanding of social impact organisations, corporate governance and risk frameworks and procedures

Experience of impact measurement and evaluation frameworks

Experience of the effective implementation of charity partnerships and community programmes

Confident communicator, collaborator and team player- great relationship builder

Starting salary between £50,000 and £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
