Possesses experience, knowledge and/or interest in the areas of communication, literacy, sensory integration, augmentative and alternative communication, supported typing, positive behavioral supports, and assistive technology in-order-to successfully support individuals and teams. Direct service coverage as assigned.  Supports individuals with significant communication needs to increase effective communication. Provides training around communication methods and systems within the individuals home, work, school or community setting and in conjunction with the individual’s approved level of funding. Supports cross training Communication Training & Resources (CTR) program initiative and organizes schedules. Attend workshops, trainings, and conferences as needed to develop knowledge and skills (competencies) in the areas of AAC, Assistive Technology (AT), FCT, Neurological Music Therapy (NMT), Sensory Integration, Autism, as well as other related areas.  Also available to provide training to staff, consumers and families in the above areas. Complete all agency required paperwork accurately, document required paperwork based on State and Federal requirements and submit notes for filing in a timely manner.
