Job Title: Community Liaison
Location: Worcester County, Griswold Home Care
Job Summary: As a Community Liaison at Griswold Home Care, you will be a vital connector between our agency and the Worcester County community. Your role will involve representing Griswold at various community events, advocating for individuals in need of home care services, and linking community members with essential resources. This position is key to raising awareness about our services and building strong relationships within the community. Griswold is dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve, and as a Community Liaison, you will play a central role in advancing this mission. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Represent Griswold at health fairs, fundraisers, and other community events. Establish and nurture relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, councils on aging, assisted living facilities, and other relevant community resources. Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance service awareness and utilization. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals. Serve as a resource for community members, addressing inquiries and providing information about our services and related resources. Organize and deliver presentations and educational events for community members and healthcare professionals. Stay current with healthcare industry trends and community needs. Regularly report on community engagement efforts and provide recommendations for improvements to the Managing Director.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for community travel. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., communications, business, health services). Proven Success in Networking and Business Growth: Demonstrated record of success in networking and growing business or revenue. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in business development, community outreach, or a similar role, preferably in a medical, home health, or related setting. Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Community Engagement: Experience in community outreach or engagement. Empathy: Strong understanding and empathy towards the community’s needs. Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Motivation: Highly motivated with a strong drive to achieve goals. Accountability: Demonstrated accountability and reliability.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $22-25 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Commission: Monthly commission based on outreach success. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, paid sick days, Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), and 401(k).
