About the role

About You

Has 2+ years of experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand or personal projects related to social media. Stays up-to-date with digital technology trends. Has a strong understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular online. You have a knack for all things social—knowing all the right places to look for killer content. Can demonstrate the ability to adapt to the extremely fast-moving world of a digital startup business. Has experience with social media tools like Falcon, Canva, CapCut, Creators Studio, Storrito, Later, and similar. Experience with video editing is a plus. Has the ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs. Pays attention to detail, is a critical thinker, and a problem-solver. Feels comfortable appearing on camera and conducting voice-overs for our video content. Loves being part of a dynamic team in a growing company and can work in teams towards a shared goal. Is flexible and can handle the demands of a newsroom, where breaking news is always on the verge!
