Responsibilities This Community Manager position will assist with coverage for our Dallas area portfolios with communities located in North Dallas, Irving, Carrollton, and Lewisville. The position will begin at Townhomes of Bent Tree, a 264 unit community, through October and then will float as needed. Are you interested in working for an owner/operator? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A COMMUNITY MANAGER You’ll be at the heart of our business – the face of Related Management Company (RMC) for residents, employees, and agency partners Show your team the way toward meeting business objectives: ensuring your property meets budgeted profitability and is in compliance with all regulations. Help your team flourish through coaching and development, helping them achieve their professional goals while tracking toward your own. Set annual property budget in partnership with Regional Manager. Develop and execute SMART action plans to improve property revenue and minimize controllable expenses; ensure property performs at or exceeding annual budget. Lead consistent team communication and host team meetings to align toward business goals. Manage resident relations and requests, including conflict resolution, while maintaining a strong sense of community. Oversee and provide guidance to maintenance staff; manage invoice and payment processing. Partner with property support teams (e.g., Compliance, HR, Facilities) to address concerns and for assistance as needed to advance the business. COMPENSATION 70,000 - 75,000 / year plus annual performance based bonus Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experienced Customer Service Pro - You have at least 2 years experience as an on-site Manager in the multifamily industry. You enjoy fostering long-lasting relationships with your clients and your team by providing an excellent customer experience. Certified Professional – You are a Certified Apartment Manager, Accredited Apartment Manager, or ARM (bonus points for this, but not required!) Number Lover – You are familiar with reading financial performance and budget worksheets Naturally Inquisitive – You are always on the lookout for better solutions Strong Communicator - you clearly express your thoughts in conversation and listen actively Opportunity Finder – You add value by solving for the root cause of the issue with the optimal outcome in mind Extremely Reliable – You are known for being extremely reliable and accountable for your deliverables! Experience with Yardi, Ariba or Hubble (or similar software program) Demonstrate leadership skills and employee management of 8+ people.
