Community Operations Coordinator

What You’ll Do:
The Coordinator, Community Operations, will play a key role in Jumpstart’s commitment to strengthening community sport across Canada, and in ensuring all kids have an opportunity to realize the benefits of participating in sport and play.
Reporting to the Manager, Community Operations the Coordinator, Community Operations will provide capacity support in the administration, management and delivery of Jumpstart's program operations designed to improve outcomes related to access and skill development, while meeting the emerging needs of equity-serving grassroots sport and recreation organizations and the children and youth they serve.
Improve Access
+ Lead the day-to-day management of Jumpstart’s inbox through timely triage and response to grantee inquiries. Ability to provide support in both English and French.
+ Lead and oversee the review, approval, and ongoing maintenance of payees within Jumpstart.
+ Support in the collection, reporting, and presentation of data and insights to drive data-driven decision making.
+ Assist in coordination all aspects of operational projects through various tasks including but not limited to budget, communication, project management.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the life cycle of grants.
+ Analyze existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and finding ways to optimize them.
Enhance Engagement
+ Support activities related to Jumpstart fundraising and awareness events, including liaising with Community Organizations and cross functional teams.
+ Support the community operations team with the management of internal software systems to support the team, community and donors.
+ Develop, coordinate, and maintain communication resources with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring:
+ Highly motivated and deeply passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of Canadian children and youth through the transformative power of sport.
+ Self-starter who takes initiative, have strong executional and time management skills.
+ Problem solver with the ability to adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements.
+ Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – who is able to apply those skills through a variety of mediums (i.e. email communication, presentation development support, etc..)
+ Collaborative team player who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward.
+ Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills
+ Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ University and/or College education
+ Sport and recreation experience considered an asset
+ Bilingual (Basic French) is a requirement
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to proactively identify and build value added analytics/reporting.
+ Excellent communication skills
+ High degree of customer service and focus
+ This is a Toronto-based position requiring some local travel to support programs and events.
