Community Outreach Coordinator

The Community Outreach Coordinator serves as a liaison, providing information about the agency to potential patients and facilitating access to resources and attending relevant events. This position focuses on raising awareness and understanding of services provided by the agency as well as employment opportunities, within the community and potential study subjects.

Conducts community outreach to agencies and groups working with seniors in the hospital/medical group industry in order to expand agency services and enhance senior care resources and support.Attends community events related to community services and finances in the hospital/medical group industry to promote and grow services, fostering partnerships and community engagement.Establishes a direct link with families, offering resources and referrals, ensuring they have access to essential healthcare services and information.Builds positive working relationships with other organizations, both within and outside the hospital/medical group industry, involved in healthcare activities, including specific disease-related activities, to collaborate on community health initiatives and increase the reach of healthcare programs.Develops and implements community education activities and workshops that provide crucial information to the community with education related to services offered and employment opportunities.Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:Required: 1 year of experience.
