+ Position Summary: The Community Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, appropriate, timely and cost-efficient medication therapy for patients. This includes but is not limited to proper and safe distribution medications, rational drug selection, monitoring administration and responsibility for the patient’s overall drug therapy. + Qualifications: A. Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and a certificate of practice from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. B. Job Knowledge: Keep current with latest developments in community pharmacy through professional organization. Know good management techniques including hospital and department policies and procedures.
